The race at the top of the FPO division is incredibly tight heading into the weekend and the final two rounds of the Disc Golf World Championships. Friday in Tampere once again featured high-quality disc golf and excellent scores.
There were no major shifts between the top players, but the standout of the third round was Iida Lehtomäki, who rose to share the tournament lead. She got off to a flying start with five birdies on the first six holes. Although her birdie pace slowed toward the end of the round, she still finished with an excellent -4 on a challenging course.
Ohn Scoggins of the United States, who held the lead before Friday’s round, continues to share the top spot with Lehtomäki. Both sit at -10. Tomorrow’s lead card will also feature Finnish players Henna Blomroos (-8) and Silva Saarinen (-6).
The top FPO players will compete in Nokia on Saturday, where fans can attend the World Championships free of charge.
All Friday scores are available on the PDGA Live platform.
