Disc golf courses in Tampere

Want to play a round of disc golf yourself? Here are few courses you might want to check out. All of the courses are free to play except the spectator rounds at the The Beast and The Monster.

Tampere Disc Golf Center

The Monster has already become an iconic course. Keep an eye on the spectator rounds if you wish to play this gem which will host the European Open 2024 and the Worlds 2025.

Epilä Frisbeepuisto

A park style course which was formerly the venue of the European Open before the Beast. 15-fairway course is beginner friendly – and pretty crowded during the summer time.

Vihiojan Frisbeepuisto

Legendary Vihioja is one of the first courses in Finland. Vihioja is a beginner friendly 9-hole course in a public park. For Jussi Meresmaa, Vihioja is the place where everything began. Usually pretty crowded.

Kylmäkoski DiscGolfPark

Nice 27-hole course. Kylmäkoski is easily approachable but decently demanding course. In the middle of nothing means no queuing.

18-hole course with a lot of elevation change; during winter time the place is a ski center.

In addition to these listed above, there are A LOT of great courses nearby. Ask from the locals their recommendations or check the UDisc map.

Vesaniemi FBG

One of the hidden gems of Finland. Vesaniemi is almost 1,5 hour drive from Tampere but has gotten a lot of positive feedback during the past couple years. A family owned course combines golf-fairways and wooded holes.
