In June, a brand-new high-level disc golf course opened in the peaceful lakeside landscape of Teisko, just north of Tampere. The course was designed and built by DiscGolfPark, a global pioneer in disc golf course development and an official partner of the PDGA Pro World Championships.
The Teisko course offers a diverse and challenging playing experience, combining beautiful natural surroundings with technical throws. It’s a significant new addition to the Tampere region’s disc golf scene—arriving just in time for the upcoming Worlds.
“We have nothing but praise for DiscGolfPark and Pasi Koivu. The support we’ve received has been incredible,” says Matti Alarotu from the Teisko Disc Golf Club, referring to the close collaboration with designer Pasi Koivu and the DiscGolfPark team.
The new Teisko course complements the already strong selection of courses in the Tampere and Nokia region, where top-tier layouts meet great travel experiences. For Worlds visitors, this means even more reasons to extend their stay—there’s now plenty to play across several days.
