The confectionery brand HARIBO is joining the Disc Golf World Championships as a main partner.
HARIBO is stepping onto the world’s biggest disc golf stage, with prominent visibility on signature holes in both the Nokia and Tampere courses — hole 17 on each course will be decorated as a HARIBO feature hole.
“Disc golf is a hobby for the whole family, and the historic World Championships are a highlight of the year for many families — something HARIBO is excited to be part of. The sport resonates widely with Finns and inspires many to get moving. We are truly thrilled about the event and this partnership,” says Pia Pesonen, Country Manager at HARIBO Finland.
The partnership will also be highly visible in HARIBO’s own marketing. Eye-catching, disc golf–themed in-store expos will take over Finnish retail stores throughout the spring and summer. HARIBO will run a raffle all summer long in social media, with 10 VIP tickets to the World Championships and many other disc golf–themed prizes up for grabs.
“Our summer promotion built around disc golf fever has been incredibly well received by retailers. You’ll see striking HARIBO displays in stores of all sizes across Finland,” Pesonen reveals.
“HARIBO is an excellent strategic partner that helps bring the World Championships into the spotlight across Finland. In my view, this kind of collaboration is the most valuable for both parties. I expect the partnership to bring unprecedented visibility to the event — from Helsinki all the way to Rovaniemi,” says Jussi Meresmaa, Competition Director of the World Championships.
