The second phase of ticket sales for the World Championships kicks off next week. Single-day VIP tickets will become available, along with General Access tickets for the Tampere venue.
The initial VIP ticket release exceeded all expectations when sales opened in November last year. Since then, the organizing team has expanded VIP capacity to ensure more disc golf fans can enjoy the championship’s most decisive moments from premium viewing spots.
“The World Championships are shaping up to be a massive international sporting event. The first phase of ticket sales revealed exceptionally strong demand for VIP tickets. Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard to create an unforgettable VIP experience for an even larger group of fans,” says Tournament Director Jussi Meresmaa.
New grandstand structures — unlike anything previously seen at a disc golf event — are being planned for the courses. For instance, a main grandstand with over 500 seats will be built at hole 18 in Nokia. In Tampere, arrangements have been made to ensure that over 400 VIP guests can view every throw on the final hole.
“In collaboration with Kataja Event, we’ve designed custom grandstand solutions specifically for the World Championships, and I’m truly excited about them. These setups will deliver an unprecedented experience for both fans and players,” Meresmaa adds.
The second phase of ticket sales begins on April 23, 2025 at 4 pm (EEST). Check out the ticket types here: Tickets.
Additional tickets may become available later if reservations are released.
